We collect Personal Information directly from you pursuant to our legitimate interests in providing our products and services to you, administering your account, confirming your identity, responding to your requests, personalizing your content, improving our products and services, preventing fraud or other illegal activity, and analyzing how you use our goods and services – and we use your Personal Information for those purposes.
Some of the Personal Information we collect is required in order for you to use the Raise3D Platforms, including ordering products. If you do not wish to provide such Personal Information to us, you are not obligated to do so – but you may not be able to use various functionality as a result (e.g., ordering products). We collect and use Personal Information as follows.
1.1. Signing Up for an Account
You may view the public sections of the Raise3D Platforms without Personal Information being collected. However, when you sign up for an account, we collect your email, name, phone number, and a password that you create for account security purposes. You must also confirm that you are over the age of sixteen (16) years old. We use this information to confirm your identity and eligibility to create an account, for communication purposes, and to ensure the security of your account. We do not share account information with any third parties.
We may also link this Personal Information with any other Raise3D accounts you might have. For example, if you sign up for a Raise Cloud Account, we may connect that account with the Personal Information you provide through the Raise3D Websites.
1.2. Purchasing a Product or Service
When you attempt to order a product or service offered on the Raise3D Platforms, we collect your email address, shipping address, billing address, payment card or account information, and other payment information. We use this information to process your orders, to keep a history of your purchases, to better assist you when you visit or contact us in the future, to improve our product offerings, and to personalize communications to you. For certain products and services, we direct you to the website of a third-party sales representative in the country you indicate. The sale of such a product or service is made by the third-party sales representative and not by Raise3D. You are encouraged to review the privacy policy for that third-party sales representative, as Raise3D is not responsible for your interactions with them (or with any other third party) and this Privacy Policy does not apply to such interactions.
1.3. Submitting a Ticket
As a support feature to our customers, we allow you to submit a ticket with us regarding product support. When doing so, we request that you provide us with certain information, including your email address, country of location, the model and serial number of the printer you are referencing, and any other information you may provide related to the support request. We collect that information to communicate with you and to help provide you with the proper support. Depending on the content of your ticket, we may also or alternately use that information to confirm your identity, personalize your content, improve our products and services, prevent fraud or other illegal activity, and analyze how you use our goods and services.
1.4. Email
You may email us with questions, comments, or requests at email addresses that we provide. When you do, we use your email address and any information you provide in the email. We do this in order to respond to your email. Depending on the content of your email, we may also or alternately use this information to confirm your identity, personalize your content, improve our products and services, prevent fraud or other illegal activity, and analyze how you use our goods and services.
In some of our email messages, you may find a “click-through URL” linked to content on the Raise3D Platforms. We may track this click-through data to help us determine your interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our communications. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, you should not click such links in our email messages.
1.5. Checking Order Status
You may look up your order by entering your order number and email into the form provided. We use this information to check on your order status and to provide you with information about your order. We may share this information with various third parties, including the reseller of your order, to help determine and apprise you of the status of your order. We may also use this information to improve our products and services.
1.7. Providing Feedback
We allow customers and visitors to the Raise3D Platforms to share feedback with us. You may choose whether or not to provide feedback; but if you do, we will collect that information and use it to understand and consider the feedback given, act on or in response to any feedback given, respond to your feedback, and in any other way we may deem appropriate, including sharing it with third parties where we deem it appropriate. We will not use the name and address you provide us when sharing feedback for any third-party marketing.
1.8. Team Accounts
When you create an account, you have the option to create an individual account or a company (“Team”) account. If you choose to create a Team account, you are asked to provide a team name, a company name (if applicable), an email to which the Team account can be associated, and a Team account password. We link this Team account to your Team members’ individual accounts so that you can share, coordinate, notify, or otherwise collaborate with the members of your Team account. By creating a Team account and/or joining a Team account, you will be sharing the information you contribute to the other Team members. We urge you to be cautious in selecting members for your Team account, joining Team accounts, and sharing information through Team accounts. You should also be aware that any documents and/or information uploaded to be shared through a Team account can be seen, used, downloaded, and/or deleted by any other member of the Team account. You should not expect that any information, including Personal Information, that you provide to a Team account will be secure.
1.10. Using the Raise3D Platforms
As is typical of many websites and mobile applications, the Raise3D Platforms may collect certain information – including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and language, browser version, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit websites and applications, operating system, date/time stamp, the number of clicks on the Raise3D Platforms and their components, whether you are a first-time or a returning user, links you clicked on while on the Raise3D Platforms, and your flow and navigation path through the Raise3D Platforms during your visit – automatically and store it in log files. We use this information to help us design the Raise3D Platforms to better suit our users’ needs. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and administer the Raise3D Platforms, analyze trends, track visitor movements, and gather broad demographic information that assists us in identifying visitor preferences.
You may give consent for the Raise3D Platforms to capture and record certain precise geo-location or global positioning data from your device in order to tailor information to your location. We may link such location data to other information that you provide to us or that may be accessed in connection with your use of the Raise3D Platforms. We will seek your consent before capturing this location data. You should be able to manage how your mobile device and mobile browser share location information with us, as well as how your mobile browser handles cookies and related technologies, by adjusting your mobile device’s privacy and security settings.
The Raise3D Platforms may also use cookies and web beacons.
1.11. Social Media and Third-Party Websites
We have a presence on social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. If you follow, post content, or participate in our social media pages or sites, the information you share will be governed by your choices with the social media site in question. As with other third-party sites, please review the privacy policy of the social media site to understand the site’s use or sharing of your information. We are not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties.
When using the Raise3D Platforms, you may click on or be directed to third-party websites beyond our control. Each third-party site may have a privacy policy different from ours. Please review them. We are not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties.
1.12. Cameras
Various Raise3D products may include cameras and/or microphones to provide functionality for our customers (e.g., the Raise3D Platforms may allow users to access printer cameras to check real-time printing status, including printer nozzle movement). Any Raise3D product containing a camera and/or microphone will be clearly marked as such. We do not store any video or audio data obtained from these cameras or microphones. However, no method of data transmission over the internet and no device with internet connectivity can be completely secure; so we do not promise, and you should not expect, that video or audio data captured or transmitted online will always remain secure. Your use of cameras, microphones, and the Raise3D Platforms, and any transmission of video and/or audio data over the internet to the Raise3D Platforms, is at your own risk.
We may disclose your Personal Information to our subsidiaries, affiliates, and sales representatives, and to contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to provide our goods and services. We will not disclose your Personal Information to third parties except with your consent or as set forth in this Privacy Policy unless we believe in good faith that the disclosure is: required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; reasonably necessary to enforce this Privacy Policy or other agreements we may have with you, including for billing and collection purposes; to address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to help us operate the Raise3D Websites or the Raise Cloud mobile application. We prohibit the service providers with whom we share your Personal Information from using that information for any other reason besides providing services to us.
If through sale, divestiture, or otherwise, another organization acquires Raise3D or our assets, we may sell, transfer, and/or disclose your Personal Information to the acquirer, who will then possess it and assume our rights and obligations under this Privacy Policy. We will not otherwise sell, rent, or lease your Personal Information to any third party.
3. Promotional Offers from Us
If you do not wish to have your email address or other Personal Information used by us to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by unsubscribing, logging into the Raise3D Platforms and adjusting your user preferences in your account profile by checking or unchecking the relevant boxes, or by sending us an email clearly stating your request. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt-out does not apply to information provided to us as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience, or other product-related transaction.
4. Cookies and Log Files
A cookie is a text file that is stored on your computer or mobile device. As text files, cookies cannot read information on your hard drive, run programs, or deliver viruses to your computer or mobile device.
The Raise3D Platforms use cookies to distinguish you from other users. We also use cookies so that we can remember certain information about you, remember your preferences, or recognize you when you return. Cookies also help us compile aggregate data about Raise3D Platform traffic and interaction so that we can improve the Raise3D Platforms and protect against fraud.
Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. You can set your browser to decline all cookies automatically or to prompt you for a response each time a cookie is offered. If you decline cookies, you may find that you cannot access or use some or all of the features in the Raise3D Platforms. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to the Raise3D Websites. These cookies can be divided into 4 types as set forth below.
We also use log files when you visit the Raise3D Platforms. Log files track IP addresses, browser type, browser version, Internet Service Provider (ISP) identity, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. We utilize this information in our legitimate interest in administering the Raise3D Platforms, preventing fraud, tracking website navigation in the aggregate, and gathering broad demographic information for aggregate use.
4.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential in order to enable the Raise3D Platforms to provide services you have asked for, such as remembering your shopping bag items.
4.2. Performance Cookies
These cookies collect anonymous information on how people use the Raise3D Platforms, and the data is merged with data from other users to enable us to improve how the Raise3D Platforms operate. The data stored by these cookies never shows personal details from which your individual identity can be established.
4.3. Functionality Cookies
These cookies remember choices you make, such as language and search parameters (e.g., size, color, and product line). These cookies can then be used to provide you with an experience more appropriate with your selections and make using the Raise3D Platforms more tailored and pleasant.
4.4. Targeting Cookies or Advertising Cookies
These cookies collect information about your browsing habits in order to make advertising relevant to you and your interests. They remember the websites you have visited, and that information is shared with other parties such as advertisers. We currently do not use Targeting or Advertising Cookies.
The Raise3D Platforms do not track users when they cross to third-party websites, do not provide targeted advertising to them, and therefore do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. The information we collect automatically is statistical data and does not include Personal Information, but we may maintain it or associate it with Personal Information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. This helps us to improve the Raise3D Platforms and deliver a better and more personalized service.
4.5. Flash Cookies
Certain features of the Raise3D Platforms may use local stored objects (or Flash cookies) to collect and store information about your preferences and navigation to, from, and on the Raise3D Platforms. Flash cookies are not managed by the same browser settings as are used for browser cookies. To learn how you can manage your Flash cookie settings, visit the Flash player settings page on Adobe’s website. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of the Raise3D Platforms may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
5. Google Analytics
The Raise3D Websites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how users use the Raise3D Websites. The information generated by cookies about your use of the Raise3D Websites (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purposes of evaluating your use of the Raise3D Websites, compiling reports on website activity for us, and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Google allows users to opt-out of tracking by Google Analytics and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting services. You can adjust your setting
here, or download the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
6. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information
You can review and change various Personal Information by logging into the Raise Cloud and visiting your account profile page. You may also send us an email to request access to, correct, or delete any Personal Information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change, delete, or provide access to Personal Information if we believe the requested action would violate any law or legal requirement, cause the information to be incorrect, or not be necessitated by law.
7. Data Security
We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your Personal Information from inadvertent or unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. For instance, all data you provide us through the Raise3D Websites is encrypted at your browser and sent, via the internet, in an encrypted format. It is then decrypted at our server. Once we receive your Personal Information, it is only accessible to staff members authorized to access your account information – and only to the extent necessary to process those transactions. However, no method of data storage or data transmission over the internet can be completely secure; so we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your Personal Information, searches, or other communications will always remain secure. Your use of the Raise3D Platforms, and any personal information that you transmit over the internet to the Raise3D Platforms, is at your own risk.
8. Data Storage, Movement, and Retention
We may store your Personal Information on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction, and the applicable data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. We store your Personal Information on our servers, and/or on the servers of third-party service providers, located in the United States. We will not transfer your Personal Information to another country absent the existence of security and privacy controls that we deem acceptable. We transfer Personal Information to the United States only with your consent or to perform a contract with you, and consistent with the practices described in this Privacy Notice. We do not collect or store sensitive information about you.
We may retain your Personal Information for at least the duration of your business relationship with us. For more information on where and how long your Personal Information is stored, and for more information on your rights of erasure and portability, please contact us using the information provided below.
9. Children and Parental Consent
The Raise3D Platforms are not directed to children under age 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. Children under 13 should not provide their Personal Information to us through the Raise3D Platforms or otherwise. If we learn that Personal Information belonging to anyone under the age of 13 is stored on the Raise3D Platforms or our servers in violation of this Privacy Policy, we will immediately delete such information and refrain from using it for any purpose.
Although the Raise3D Platforms do not target children over 13, they may register with parental consent. Upon receipt of such a request to register, we will ask the child to provide a parent or guardian’s email so we can request consent. In the email, we will explain what information we are collecting, how we plan to use it, how the parent can provide consent, and how the parent can revoke consent. If we do not receive parental consent within a reasonable time, we will delete the parent’s contact information and any other information collected from the child. We will not use these parent emails to market to the parent, unless the parent has expressly opted in to email marketing or has separately participated in an activity that allows for such email contact.
Upon receipt of parent consent, we may ask the child to provide certain information for notification and security purposes, including a parent or guardian’s email address, the child’s first name and gender, the child’s member or account username, and password. Children should not provide any personal information in their usernames.
Certain features of the Raise3D Platforms cannot function without us first having received Personal Information. As a result, children under 13 may not be able to access certain features if required Personal Information has not been requested or provided. For example, we will not collect or employ geo-location features without express consent from a parent or guardian.
For school-based activities, teacher and/or school administrators can act in place of a parent or guardian to consent to collection of Personal Information from children. Schools should always notify parents about these activities. For more information on parental rights with respect to a child’s educational record under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), please visit the FERPA site.

• the right, with some exceptions, to have your personal information deleted from our possession or control; and

In addition, you may have the right to request and receive certain information about a company’s disclosure of your personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing use, and your choices with respect to such disclosures. The Raise3D Platforms do not authorize the collection of Personal Information by third parties except as provided in this Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions or concerns about your California privacy rights, our Privacy Policy, or our use of your Personal Information, you may direct your inquiries to us through the contact information below. EU users have a right to request that we update or correct your personal information in our possession that is inaccurate or incomplete.
12.4. Right of Erasure
EU users have a right to request that personal data be deleted when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected or processed, when you withdraw your consent, when data is unlawfully processed, when we have no reason to continue processing the data, or to comply with a legal obligation of the EU or a Member State.
12.5. Right to Restrict Processing
EU users have a right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data if the data is inaccurate, if the processing is unlawful but you do not want the data to be erased and request restriction, if we no longer need the data but you want the data to be preserved so a legal claim can be exercised, or if we are taking measures to verify a data erasure request.
